Great starter pack for beard-goers I am about 5 weeks into cultivating my beard and this Beard Pack has some key essentials to grooming and maintaining your treasure. The Pine Tar Soap is fantastic, It lathers great and has such a fantastic scent. The pocket beard comb that comes with it is a hoot, your friends will love watching you whip it out and tame your wild beard, stroke by stroke. As for the oils, my oh my! The superior of the two would have to be the Bay Rum. From the moment you twist off the cap you are stunned by the manly essence that your nose takes in, I wear this one mainly. The Viking blend is almost odorless. There is a slight menthol-ish scent attached but it is overall underwhelming when compared to the Bay Rum. I recommend this to anyone who is just diving into the beard game.

Sleak and Sexy! The bay rum oil is awesome! And I’m speaking from a wife’s point of view! It makes my husband’s beard so sleak and shiny and it smells very manly and sexy! It also makes it more manageable to style. It was a hit for a Christmas present and I would try more products from Grave Before Shave in the future. =)

My husbands beard is way to thick and long for it but the kids like it. There are some tricks to using beard oil. There are numerous youtube videos on this. It is best to use right after a shower when your pores are still open as beard oil is for conditioning the skin more so than saturating your beard. Towel dry your beard and then use only a few drops and lather into your finger tips. Remember a little goes a long way. My husbands beard is one of the thickest I’ve seen and about three inches long and he uses 3 drops or about the size of a dime. So, lather in to your fingers and then work into your face through your beard spreading it evenly, don’t forget the mustache too. Once done use a comb to…
