Honest review I didn’t get this free, nor did I get a discount to write an “honest Review”. I baught the shaver from Japan and paid a premium price for it. It is a good shaver but not excellent. I have a couple of series 7 racers and frankly, like them as good in fact, better than the series 9 Braun. The series 9 is big and heavy, which is ok but, who needs that. It doesn’t make the shave any better. I have several series 7 shavers, for travel and emergency and they all use the same cleaning system. Now comes the Series 9 and the cleaning system isn’t compatable with otrher Braun shavers. Not good engineering I’d say. Most of the other “Honest Reviews” tested on a 3 day beard. Who shaves every 3 days? I tested daily shaves of the Series 9 vs daily shaves of the Series 7. I prefer the Series 7. The smaller size of the Series 7 shaver head gets into my facial features better and gives me a closer shave than the Series 9. The Series 7 is one heck of a good bargain now as well. Don’t…

You should be aware of this one problem I have owned this since August, 2015. It is a great shaver with one big problem. You can’t find the replacement head anywhere to purchase, at a normal price. It is about time for me to replace mine, but I won’t be able to. Even the official Bruan site does not offer it for sale, at least in the United States.

Kind of Disappointed for the expectations… I was using the Braun 790cc and I dropped it and broke it. For awhile I have been using a wet razor because I couldn’t afford at the time to drop $200 – $300 on a new electric razor. I have sensitive skin and finally had enough with the wet razor, saw the series 9 was out, and bought it. I loved my 790cc and how it got as close as a wet razor (so it felt) and was excited for this model. I love the modern design, the new trimmer on the back, and the fact that the new clean and charge station blew the shaver dry. However what I didn’t like so much was the cassette (foil) on the shaver. It is to freaking big to do anything with. Its great on my cheeks but when it comes to the rest of my face (Neck, Chin, upper lip, and lower lip areas) there is always stubble left behind. The size of the cassette makes it very difficult to get a close shave in those areas. I have tried tightening my skin (pulling it back). I have tried shaving up, down, left, right, backwards, forwards, and upside down…
